Double Room 6

The four rooms, all on the first floor, look out on the picturesque Via della Galluzza, with its arches that frame the steep streets that lead down to Fontebranda and Saint Catharine’s Sanctuary. All of the rooms have a private bathroom complete with shower and bidet, heating, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. We do not have air-conditioning, but the thick outer walls of the 15th-century building keep the rooms cool throughout most of the summer, and a fan is in each room. The fact that we have only four rooms, together with the rustic Tuscan style — exposed brick-and-beam ceilings, simple but functional furniture — create a cozy and familiar atmosphere. At the reception there is a small kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator, and electric kettle and a coffee machine. We do not offer breakfast, but a bar just around the corner gives our guests a discount. In the common area you will also find hairdryers and extra shampoo/shower gel.. There are 38 low steps up to our door, the elevator does not stop on the first floor, but please let us know when you arrive if you need help bringing up your luggage.
