BY CAR:
The historical center of Siena is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), which means it is more or less off-limits to cars. If you are using a GPS navigator, please put Viale Vittorio veneto as your initial destination. This street goes around two sides of the Fortezza (next to the soccer stadium) and has lots of free parking. Attilio-Camere is about a 10-minute walk from the stadium.
For more precise directions, you can email or call us.
Attilio-Camere can generate a QR-code for a daily deal of 25.00€ to use in any communal parking lot across town. The closest ones would be Stadio/Fortezza or Santa Caterina.
From the North: take the Autostrada A1 to Firenze-Roma, and exit at Impruneta. Follow the directions for Siena, then take the Siena Ovest exit. Follow the directions for the stadio (soccer stadium).
From the South: take the Autostrada A1 to Firenze-Bologna, and exit at Sinalunga, direction Siena. Take the exit for the tangenziale Firenze-Grosseto, then take the exit for Siena Ovest-Firenze, which is right after the S. Lazzero tunnel. Exit at Siena Ovest and follow the directions for the stadio(soccer stadium).
BY TRAIN:
From the train station the easiest way to get to the B&B is to take a taxi. Tell the driver to take you to Piazza Indipendenza, where you will see the Teatro dei Rozzi; the little street running alongside the theater is Via Diacceto.
If there are no taxis waiting in front of the train station, you will have to call +39 0577 49222 to radio the taxi service. Tell them you are at the train station and they will give you the number of the taxi that will come to get you. The taxi number is on the door of the car, so you will know which one is yours.
Otherwise you can take one of the local buses that stop on the other side of the square in front of the train station. Enter the shopping center across the square and go to the doors on the left. There will be directions for getting down to the level of the bus stop. From the bus get off at Piazza del Sale or else Piazza Gramsci-La Lizza, depending on which bus you take (look for these destinations on the sign in the front window of the bus as it approaches and flag it down if these destinations are listed). From each of these final stops Via Diacceto is about a 10-minute walk.
BY BUS:
The buses from other cities will leave you at either Piazza Gramsci-La Lizza or at the train station. Follow the directions as given above for arrival by train.
